Scientists like Beer

Microbrews especially.  Graduate students and Post-Docs especially like beer.  PIs might like beer...but perhaps they drink in their office so much that the phenotype is more cryptic....

Research MDs, in my experience, don't like beer. It's wine or cocktails with them.

The fondness for soaked, rotted, fungally infested grains in an aqueous solution makes the scientist's partiality for NASCAR understandable. After all, what is high energy physics but a pale imitation of a NASCAR race?

What, after all, is a run of the LHC but two objects racing around a closed circuit at a high rate of speed until they crash into each other?
